Copper Hill High Service Pumps
Specifications: High Service Pumps - 3,000 gallons per minute each This pump station is situated on the hill off of Copper Hill Circle and consists of the receiving point for the UTRWD surface water (up to 2 million gallons per day), 3 - high service pumps, the emergency generator and 2 storage tanks: 1 - 2,000,000 gallon tank (bottom of picture) and 1 - 300,000 gallon tank (top of picture). This is where UTRWD and BWSC water mix and wait for transfer to the elevated tank. These pumps can each put out 3,000 gallons a minute. If all three are on they can fill an average swimming pool in 2 minutes.
